Hospitality

At Metro, when we say, “we’re a welcoming church”, we are serious about the words, “come as you are”. We believe the art of welcome begins with a simple invitation. From invitation we move into a deeper experience of hospitality. As a community, we honor moments where people can feel affirmed as God’s precious children, and our hope is to create this kind of sacred and welcoming space.

As volunteers for the Hospitality Service Team we befriend one another through simply serving together in areas such as: general setup/break down, café table & coffee preparation, community connections, and greeting.

Believing that the art of welcome can be a form worship itself, hospitality becomes the fruit of God’s love and acceptance to be shared with others.
